Cyber Miner Guide: Gem Mining Coordinates & Bomb Evasions
Cyber Miner Guide: Gem Mining Coordinates & Bomb Evasions
Cyber Miner is a grid-based digging game that combines puzzle deduction with arcade navigation. Digging through blocks rewards points and reveals hidden gems, but one wrong move onto an explosive bomb cell ends your run.
Here are strategic rules to mine safely and climb the leaderboard.
1. Unrevealed Tile Hazards
Unrevealed cells are marked with a glowing bolt (⚡). Every time you dig into an unrevealed tile, you risk hitting a bomb. To minimize risk:
- Check already revealed cells for hints.
- Avoid digging vertically straight down in a single column; instead, clear rows horizontally to keep escape routes open.
2. Vertical Screen-Shift Planning
Reaching the bottom row of the grid shifts the entire screen upward, deleting the top 3 rows and appending 3 fresh rows at the bottom. Before you dig into the bottom row:
- Ensure you have collected all visible gems in the top half, as they will be deleted once the grid shifts.
- Position your character in the center column to avoid getting trapped in a corner after the shift.
3. Gem Collection Efficiency
Collecting a diamond gem (💎) rewards 100 points, which is 10x more than a standard dirt block. However, if a gem is surrounded by unrevealed blocks, clear the surrounding dirt first to ensure there is no hidden bomb adjacent to the gem.
