Cyber Orbit Strategy: Tangential Bursts & Trajectory Timing
Cyber Orbit Strategy: Tangential Bursts & Trajectory Timing
Cyber Orbit combines orbital gravity physics with microsecond timing. Surviving inside the star's gravitational field requires tracking orbital momentum and calculating tangential release vectors.
Here are core trajectory tips to help you set top scores on Fungameon.
1. Tangential Burst Mechanics
When your player orb revolves around the central star, pressing Spacebar or tapping releases your orb in a line tangent to the circle:
- Angle Alignment: Wait until your orb's forward vector aligns directly with the yellow energy node before launching.
- Speed Control: The launch speed is constant. Do not panic-burst when debris approaches; wait for a clean exit window.
2. Debris Clearance Sweeps
Purple debris orbits at varying distances and speeds. Scan the space between your orb and the target for floating hazards. If debris intersects your launch path, complete another full orbit turn to wait for a clear gap.
3. Dynamic Orbit Resets
Striking a target node awards +25 score and immediately establishes a new orbital circle around the impact coordinate. Use this fresh orbit to quickly re-orient your visual focus for the next energy target.
